The Story of This Lounge

From December 2024 for about one month, we ran a crowdfunding campaign. We're incredibly grateful to the 106 individuals who contributed a total of 1,762,500 JPY. This funding will be carefully used for essential additional renovation work, furniture, and the creation of this very webpage, all vital steps toward the future we envision for this lounge's opening.

Looking back to our founding in 2017, we never imagined that almost 10 years later, we'd be welcoming so many guests from Japan and abroad, let alone conceiving of a lounge like this. It's thanks to all of you, traveling great distances to visit us, that we were inspired to say, "Okay, let's create a lounge for our tour guests!”

We also owe a debt of gratitude to our colleagues across Japan who are working hard to enhance the appeal of their own regions, and to our partners within Yamagata Prefecture who collaborate with us to promote our activities. We sincerely thank you all.

With this Tendō Onsen lounge as our starting point, we aim to create systems and flows that encourage exploration throughout Yamagata Prefecture. We appreciate your continued support.
